Daniel Elmer
Daniel Elmer is the current leader of South Norfolk Council, having been elected to the position in May 2024. He succeeded Lord Fuller, who had been the council leader since 2007.
Daniel, originally from Basildon, moved to Norfolk to study economics at the University of East Anglia. He now resides in Trowse with his partner, Chloe, and their sprocker spaniel. Before becoming the council leader, Daniel served as the deputy leader of South Norfolk Council and represents the Cringleford ward. He also holds a position as a county councillor.
In addition to his political roles, Daniel works as a policy advisor at the Cabinet Office. Daniel is committed to continuing to work collaboratively with both his Conservative colleagues and the opposition to serve the community effectively.
