Mark is Founder and Managing Director of Traditional Norfolk Poultry. He is a member of the NFU Poultry Board and the Government's Avian Influenza Advisory Group. He is also an RSPCA Assured and Red Tractor mark advisor.

Following his childhood dream of becoming a farmer, Mark started to grow free range and organic chickens and turkeys. At the time the market was flooded with poor quality, intensively reared birds. Traditional Norfolk Poultry offered something different.

Pioneering many different poultry growing techniques, the business continued to grow. It invested in building a brand new, state of the art processing facility to support this continued growth.

Traditional Norfolk Poultry operates across East Anglia, with its head office and processing facility in the heart of Breckland. The birds they produce are sold at high street retailers throughout the UK. The company also supplies some of the country's most prestigious restaurants and hotels. They have even developed their own breed: the Norfolk Black Chicken. This is something that no other poultry business has ever done, and the demand for this breed continues to grow.
